بنيت طاعتي باتباع

بالذكر والسنة والإجماع

I built my obedience by following

The remembrance, the Sunnah, and the consensus

عاهدت ربي على العباده

بسنة المختارخيرالساده

I promised my Lord to worship

With the Sunnah of the Chosen One, the best of masters

له علي العهدفي تحليل ما

حلل مع تحريم ماقد حرما

He has a promise from me regarding making lawful what

He made lawful, and making unlawful what He made unlawful

عاهدته أيضاعلى ترك ابتداع

مستهترًالوجهه قصد اتباع

I also promised Him to abandon innovation

Arrogantly turning away His face, intending to follow

ظهر لي أن اعتصاما بالكتاب

وبحديث المصطفى هوالصواب

It became clear to me that adhering to the Scripture

And to the hadith of Al-Mustafa is the right thing

لجئت للكريم بالكتاب

وبالحديث ثم بالصواب

I resorted to the Generous One with the Scripture

And with the hadith, then with rightness

كرامتي ومفخري وجاهي

كتاب ربي ورسول الله

My dignity, my pride and my glory

Is my Lord's Scripture and the Messenger of Allah

يا جملة قدثلثوا بضلالهم

من لم يكن ولد له أووالد

O group who have gone astray with their misguidance

Those who have no child or children

أخرجتموني ناطقين بأنني

عبد الإله وإنني لمجاهد

You brought me out saying that I

Am Allah's servant and that I am a fighter

و ظننتم أن المدافع عندنا

والكل منكم ذو قلى ويحاسد

And you thought the defender among us

Is everyone with a mind and jealous

ومقالكم حق فإني عبده

وخديم عبد الله وهوالحامد

And your words are true, for I am His servant

And the servant of Allah's servant, and He is the Praiser

و مقالكم إني أجاهد صادق

إني لوجه الله جل أجاهد

And your words that I am a truthful warrior

I fight for the sake of Allah, the Most High I fight

إني أجاهد بالعلوم و بالتقى

عبدا خديما و المهيمن شاهد

I fight with knowledge and piety

A serving slave, and the Guardian is witness

سيفي الذي يفري طلى من ثلثوا

توحيده فهو الإله الواحد

My sword which makes flee the misguidance of those who distorted

His Oneness, for He is the One God

و مدافعي اللاتي بها أنفي العدى

و بها يفارقني عنيد قاصد

And my shields with which I avert the enemies

And with which the stubborn transgressor leaves me

ذكر حكيم أحكمت آياته

ممن يزحزح ما يريد المارد

The Wise Remembrance whose verses He decreed wisely

Against those who want to turn away the rebel

أما رماحي فالأحاديث التي

وردت عن الماحي ونعم الوارد

As for my spears, they are the hadiths that

Came from the Eraser, and excellent is that which came

وبها أزحزح بدعة قد أحدثوا

و بها يلازمني سعيد عابد

With them I repel the innovation they introduced

And with them the happy worshipper stays with me

أما الفروع فأسهم قد حددت

لحديثه إن الفروع زوائد

As for the branches, I have arrows that

I specified for his hadith that the branches are supplements

وبها أزحزح صائلا من شبهة

عن جانبي إن السهام طوارد

And with them I repel, lunging at doubts

From my side, for the arrows are chasers

أما الذي يتجسس الأسرار لي

فتصوف صاف جلاه أماجد

As for the one who spies on my secrets

It is pure Sufism that elevated its glories
