بدائعُ الألحانِ والأوزانِ

ورائقُ المدائحِ الحِسانِ

The melodies and meters so ingenious

And the praises so sincere and gracious

أهديتُها للمالكِ الجليلِ

ومن ربا في المجدِ والتبجيل

I dedicate to the noble master

Lord of glory, grace and honor faster

حلفِ التقى والعلمِ والديانه

والعدلِ والحلمِ مع الصيانَه

Sworn to piety, knowledge and faith

And justice, patience with self-restraint

سِبطِ الرسولِ الهاشمي العدنان

أميرنا ذي الفضلِ والإحسان

Grandson of the Prophet, the Hashimite Adnanite

Our Prince of virtue and benevolence so great

نديِّ راحةٍ كريمِ الكفِّ

زهي أخلاقٍ زكيِّ الوصفِ

Comforter of tranquility, generous and kind

Of sublime morals and traits refined

خدن المعالي والمعاني الرائقه

وشيمٍ بين الأنام فائقه

With exquisite, superior qualities

And manners unmatched in societies

يغضي حياءً عن وفاءٍ وذِمَم

يعفو مع القُدرةِ عن محضِ الكرم

Modest, faithful and true to his word

Forgiving, though capable, with grace conferred

رفيع جاهٍ دامَ في عز يزيد

وفي هناءٍ كاملٍ وافٍ مديد

Of lofty status, may his glory progress

In perfect bliss and happiness boundless
