للَه خطب فادح
صفو الكرام به تكدر
By God, what a grievous calamity!
Through it, the serenity of the noble has been troubled.
يطوي الوجود وحزنه
في الناس لا ينفك ينشر
It engulfs all existence, and its sorrow
never ceases to spread among the people.
