جَناب الخَديو عاد في مَصر فَاِزدَهى

سُروراً بِأَهل السَعد فَاِبتَهَجت مَصر

The Khedive's Highness returned to Egypt rejoicing

With joy for the people of good fortune, so Egypt rejoiced

وَقَد أَشرَقَت مَصر وَراقَت بِمَجدِها

بعود الخديو مِن مراد بهِ البش

Egypt shone and sparkled with its glory

At the Khedive's return from his desired destination

وَثَغر اِغتِنام الغَوث يَدنو مُؤرِخاً

قُدوم الخديو سادَ سَعد بِهِ اليسر

And the mouth uttering news of the imminent aid drew near recording

The Khedive's arrival, bringing good fortune and ease
