A sun of joy with good fortune bearing witness

The banner of delight with glory and intimacy bound

To you, O Mahmoud, my dream, brother of the sublime

We flutter with felicity and your time is auspicious

So remain here, for fortune has said, chronicling

With the best company, your splendid wedding applauded
