By your judgment, O the best of judges, justice has reached its pinnacle

And you have revived its spirit in us, so yours is the merit

And you have implemented the law with fairness

And with equity you have disciplined the ignorant of his foolishness

And you have given rights to virtues their dues

And without you, O you of justice, injustice would have prevailed

So O Bey Bessouney, may you remain honored

And may you remain as we wish, holding authority and power

And may glory continue to bestow upon you its glory

And give you under the shade of justice what is most delightful

And you have not ceased to promote good and favor

And I am not alone, rather all share this with me

So remain lofty and let people chant praise

And let the days and years recite your signs
