أعْدُو على مالِ بسْطامٍ فأنهْبَهُ

كما أشاءُ فلا تُثنَى إلىّ يديِ

Wandering on Bistam's expanse I plunder it

As I please, so my hands are never turned from me

حتى كأنّي بِسْطامٌ بما احتكمتْ

فيه يَداي وبسطامٌ أبو الأَسَدِ

Until it seems as though my hands contended

Over it, and it is the Bistam of Abu Al-Asad
