سقاني أبو بشر من الراح شربة
لها لذةٌ ما ذقتها لشراب
Abu Bishr gave me a draught of wine,
with a savor I had never tasted in any drink.
وما طبخوها غير أن غلامهم
سعى في نواحي كرمها بشهاب
They had not cooked it—except that their servant
went around the edges of its vineyard with a firebrand.
