رَأَيتُكَ أطعَمتَنِي في المَنَامِ

قَوَاصِرَ مِن تَمرِكَ البَارِحه

قَوَاصِرَ مِن تَمرِكَ البَارِحه

I saw you feed me in a dream

I saw you feeding me dates in a dream last night

basketfuls of your dates last night;

The mother of children and her little ones

فَأُمُّ العِيَالِ وصِبيَانُهَا

فَأُمُّ العِيَالِ وصِبيَانُهَا

إلى البَابِ أعيُنُهُم طَامِحَه

إلى البَابِ أعيُنُهُم طَامِحَه

so the mother of the household and her children stand

Their eyes look longingly towards the door

with their eyes raised expectantly toward the door.
