أبلِغَنْ أهلنا ولا تخف عنهم

ما لقينا في البرزخ الخِنَّاق

Tell our people, and hold nothing back from them:

What we have encountered in the choking Barzakh.

قد سُئلنا عن كل ما قد فَعَلنا

فارحموا وَحشتي وما قد ألاقي

We have been questioned about everything we did;

So have mercy on my loneliness and all I must endure.
