1. فلو أنَّا إذا متنا تُركنا

    لكان الموت راحة كلِّ حيِّ

    If, when we died, we were simply left alone,

    then death would be a relief to every living soul.

  2. ولكنَّا إذا متنا بُعِثنا

    ونُسأل بعده عن كلِّ شيِّ

    But when we die, we are raised again,

    and afterward are questioned about every single thing.
