جَزا اللَهُ خَيراً أَذكُرُ حاجَتي

فَأَثني بِخَيرٍ عِندَها وَتَشَهَّدا

May Allah reward you well, I remember my need

So I praise you with goodness when I present it and send blessings upon you

أَخاً لي عَلَيهِ ضامِنٌ ما أَهَمَّني

مَتى ما يَنَلني اليَومَ لا يَعتَلِل غَدا

A brother to me for whom he guarantees whatever preoccupies me

Whenever I get it today, it does not fail tomorrow

كَثيرُ نَعَم تَرّاثُ لا فَرِحٌ بِما

تَبَرَّعَ مِن مَعروفِهِ وَتَجَوَّدا

Abundant favors inherited, no joy in what

He volunteered of his kindness and generosity

حَنَوتَ عَلَينا حَنوَةَ الوالِدِ الَّذي

بَنى لِبَنِيهِ ثُمَّ وَطّا فَمَهَّدا

You were kind to us with the kindness of a father who

Built for his children then lined and smoothed

نَعَم مِنكَ عَلَينا حَنوَةَ الوالِدِ الَّذي

بَنى لِبَنيهِ ثُمَّ وَطا فَمَهَّدا

Yes, your kindness to us is that of a father who

Built for his children then lined and smoothed

بَطينٌ مِنَ التَقوى خَميصٌ مِنَ النَحنا

يُحِبُّ لَدى العَرشِ التُقى وَالتَوَدُّدا

A core of piety, a shirt of tenderness

Who loves piety and affection before the Throne

تَهَدَّمَ بِالمَعروفِ حَتّى حَسِبتَهُ

مِنَ الجودِ سَدّى قَبلَها عِندَهُ يَدا

You have been ruined by kindness until I thought you

From generosity, its dams in front of it, put forth a hand

وَكُنتَ كَغَيثِ الخالِ أَرسَلَ وَدقَهُ

لِمَن شامَهُ يُزجى السَحابَ المُنَضَّدا

You were like rain clouds that poured and knocked

Whoever it touches, the stacked clouds rush
