صهرُ النبي بذاك الله أكرَمَه

إذا اصطفاه وذاك الصَّهر مُذّخَرُ

The Prophet's son-in-law, whom Allah honored

When He chose him, and that kinship is stored up as treasure

فَقام بالأمر والتقوى أبو حَسَنٍ

بخٍ هنالك فضلٌ ما له خَطَرُ

So Abu Hasan took charge of the matter and piety

Therein lies excellence which has no limit

لا يسلم القَرمُ مِنه إن ألمَّ بِهِ

ولا يهابُ وإن اعداؤه كثروا

The spears cannot touch him if he decides to engage

He does not fear even if the foes are many

من رامَ صولتَه وافى منيتَه

لا يدفعُ الثكل عن أقرانه الحَذَرُ

Whoever desires to challenge his might meets their death

Caution does not avert bereavement from his peers
