سأشكر لا أني أجازيك منعماً

بشكري ولكن كي يقال له الشكر

I thank not to reward you with favor

But thank you so it may be said: Give thanks!

واذكر أيا من لديك وحسنها

وآخر ما يبقى على الشاكر الذكر

And speak of the good in those you know

For gratitude is what remains with the grateful
