اللَهُ أَكبَرَ أَرضُ القُدسِ قَد صَفَرتَ

مِن آلِ الأَصفَرِ إِذ حينَ بِهِ حانوا

Allah is Greatest, the land of Jerusalem has turned yellow

From the descendants of Al-Asfar, when they came to it

أَسباطُ يوسُفَ مِن مِصرَ أَتَو وَلَهُم

مِن غَيرِ تيهٍ بِها سَلوى وَأَمنانُ

The tribes of Joseph came from Egypt, and for them

There was no straying in it, but peacefulness and tranquility

لَهُم فَلَسطينُ أَن يَخرُجَ مُنفَرِجاً

عَنها وَإِلّا عَدَّت بيضٌ وَخَرصانُ

For them Palestine to be liberated

From it, otherwise there were eggs and bamboo sticks

حَتّى بَنَيتَ رِتاجَ القُدسِ مُنفَرِجاً

وَيَصعَدُ الصَخرَ الغَرّاءَ عُثمانُ

Until you built the dome of Jerusalem liberated

And Othman ascends the lofty rock

وَاِستَقبَلَ الناصِرُ المِحرابُ يَعبُدُ مَن

قَد تَمَّ مِن وَعدِهِ فَتحٌ وَإِمكانُ

And Al-Nasir faced the prayer niche, worshiping the One

Who fulfilled His promise of victory and ability

وَجازَ بَعضُ بَنيهِ البَحرُ تَجفَلُ مِن

غاراتِهِ الرومُ وَالصِقلابِ وَاللانُ

And some of his sons crossed the sea, which boiled

From his raids, the Romans, Sicilians and brigands

حَتّى يُوَحِّدُ أَهلُ الشِركِ قاطِبَةَ

وَيُرهِبُ القَولَ بِالثالوثِ رُهبانُ

Until he unites the idolaters altogether

And terrifies those who speak of the Trinity, monks

وَلِاِبنِ أَيّوبَ في الإِفرِنجِ مَلحَمَةٌ

دَلَّت عَلَيها أَساطيرٌ وَحُسبانُ

And for the son of Ayyub there is a battle with the Franks

Which legends and accounts point to

وَمَن أَحَقُّ بِمُلكِ الأَرضِ مِن مَلِكٍ

كَأَنَّهُ مَلِكٌ في الخَلقِ حَنانُ

And who is more deserving of the kingdom of the world than a king

Who is like a most gentle king among people
