أَورَدَهاhe led them to water سَعدٌSaʿd وَسَعدٌand Saʿd مُشتَمِلwrapped in his cloak
أَورَدَها سَعدٌ وَسَعدٌ مُشتَمِل
ماnot هَكَذاin this way تورَدُare led to water ياO سَعدُSaʿd الإِبِلthe camels
ما هَكَذا تورَدُ يا سَعدُ الإِبِل
Sa‘d brought them to water, while Sa‘d stood wrapped in his cloak;
Saʿd led them to water, while Saʿd was wrapped in his cloak.
Not thus, O Sa‘d, are camels brought to water.
This is not how camels are led to water, O Saʿd.
