عَفا الحُبُ الاِعلى فُروض الاِجاوِل

فَميثُ الربى من بَيض ذاتِ الخَمائِل

Upper al-Hubb has faded away, as have the meadows of al-Ajawil,

The sublime love has absolved the duties of time

And the soft ground of the hills of Bayd, rich in thickets.

So the covenant of the lord from the eggs of the doves
