جَعَلنthey set ذوDhū (possessor of) رُؤوءRuʾūʾ البَرقِal-Barq بَرقِBarq عَنيزَةʿUnayzah
جَعَلن ذو رُؤوء البَرقِ بَرقِ عَنيزَة
شِمالاًto the left وَعنand on أَيمانِهِنtheir right sides العَوانِدُal-ʿAwānid
شِمالاً وَعن أَيمانِهِن العَوانِدُ
They set Dhū Ruʾūʾ, al-Barq—the Barq of ʿUnayzah—
The one with lightning vision made lightning of Unaiza
to their left, with al-ʿAwānid on their right.
To their left and to the right of them the defiant ones
