أصابَfound correctly دَواءremedy علتكyour ailment الطَبيبthe physician
أصابَ دَواء علتك الطَبيب
وَخاضَand waded into لَكَfor you السُلوsolace ابنson of الرَبيبal-Rabib
وَخاضَ لَكَ السُلو ابن الرَبيب
The physician found the right remedy for your ailment.
The doctor found the cure for your ailment
And Ibn al-Rabib waded into solace for you.
And the young man endured tribulations for you
وَاِبصَرand saw مِنamong رُقاكَyour incantations منفِّثاتwomen blowing spells
وَاِبصَر مِن رُقاكَ منفِّثات
وَداؤُكَand your illness كانَwas أعرَفَbetter acquainted بِالطَبيبwith the physician
وَداؤُكَ كانَ أعرَفَ بِالطَبيب
And among your incantations he saw women blowing spells.
And perceived from your weakness exhaling breaths
Yet your illness knew the physician better.
Yet your illness was more known to the doctor
