فَما أَنا الا مِثل سيِّقة العدا

ان اِستَقدَمت نَحرَ وَان جَبَأت عقر

ان اِستَقدَمت نَحرَ وَان جَبَأت عقر

So I am nothing but like a beast driven off by enemies:

I walk behind the pack, just like a camel at the rear

If it advances, it is slaughtered; and if it draws back, it is hamstrung.

Whether first to lead the caravan, or last to end the trail
