فَظَلَّ لها لدن من الاثل مورق

فَظَلَّ لها لدن من الاثل مورق

إِذا زَعزَعتُهُ سكبَة يتغيف

إِذا زَعزَعتُهُ سكبَة يتغيف

And for her there remained a supple, leafy tamarisk bough,

So it has remained from ancient times, flourishing,

Whenever a downpour shakes it, it sways.

When I shake its boughs, pouring freely its yield.
