جَزى اللَهُ خَيراً وَالجَزاءُ بِكَفِّهُ

جَزى اللَهُ خَيراً وَالجَزاءُ بِكَفِّهُ

بَني الصَلتِ إِخوانَ السَماحَةِ وَالمَجدِ

بَني الصَلتِ إِخوانَ السَماحَةِ وَالمَجدِ

May God reward with good—and recompense is in His hand—

May Allah reward you well, and the reward is in His hand,

the sons of al-Ṣalt, brothers of generosity and glory.

O people of lineage, brothers of generosity and glory,

أَتاني وَأَهلي بِالعِراقِ نَداهُمُ

أَتاني وَأَهلي بِالعِراقِ نَداهُمُ

كَما صابَ غَيثٌ مِن تِهامَةَ في نَجدِ

كَما صابَ غَيثٌ مِن تِهامَةَ في نَجدِ

Their bounty reached me and my family in Iraq,

You came to me and my family in Iraq with your call,

as rain from Tihāmah poured down in Najd.

Like a rainfall from Tihama in Najd,

فَما يَتَغَيَّر مِن زَمانٍ وَأَهلِهِ

فَما يَتَغَيَّر مِن زَمانٍ وَأَهلِهِ

فَما غَيَّرَ الإِسلامُ مَجدَكُمُ بَعدي

فَما غَيَّرَ الإِسلامُ مَجدَكُمُ بَعدي

So whatever changes time and its people may undergo,

So time does not change, nor its people,

Islam has not changed your glory after me.
