أهذا دلالُ الحبّ أم فعل فاركِ

I say to Hind, when I did not approve of her conduct:

Is this love’s coyness, or the act of a woman who loathes her husband?

أم الصرم ما تبغي وكل مفارقٍ

أم الصرم ما تبغي وكل مفارقٍ

يسير علينا فقده بعد مالك

يسير علينا فقده بعد مالك

Or is severing ties what you seek? And everyone who departs—

His loss is slight for us after Malik.
