صلِّsend blessings وسَلمْand send peace علىupon النَبيthe Prophet وآلِهِand his family
صلِّ وسَلمْ على النَبي وآلِهِ
فَأتِthen come بماwith what شَاءَhe willed منof صِفَاتِattributes كَمَالِهِhis perfection
فَأتِ بما شَاءَ من صِفَاتِ كَمَالِهِ
Send blessings and peace upon the Prophet and his family.
Send blessings and peace upon the Prophet and his family
Then bring forth what he willed of the attributes of his perfection.
Then come with whatever qualities of his perfection you wish
أحرَقَنيburned me نَارُfire اشتياقِlonging for وصالِهِunion with him
أحرَقَني نَارُ اشتياقِ وصالِهِ
مُفتَكراًcontemplating فيon جَمالِهِhis beauty وَجلالِهِand his majesty
مُفتَكراً في جَمالِهِ وَجلالِهِ
The fire of longing for union with him has burned me.
The fire of longing for his company has burnt me
Contemplating his beauty and majesty.
Contemplating his beauty and majesty
وأقتبسُand I draw النّورَthe light منfrom شُعاعِradiance جمالِهِhis beauty
وأقتبسُ النّورَ من شُعاعِ جمالِهِ
أحسَنُfinest منthose whom خَصَّهُhe favored him جَميعَall خِصالِهِhis qualities
أحسَنُ من خَصَّهُ جَميعَ خِصالِهِ
And I draw light from the radiance of his beauty.
And I draw light from the rays of his beauty
The finest of those he favored with all his qualities.
The best of those graced with all his qualities
يَسَّرَكَmay he enable you اللهGod تابعاًas a follower لِفعالِهِof his deeds
يَسَّرَكَ الله تابعاً لِفعالِهِ
May God enable you to follow his deeds.
May God make you a follower of his deeds
