وقد باتَ ذاكَ الأمرُ طوقَهم يعدو
The children of the world complained and wished for their own extinction;
The people of this world complained and wished for their demise
And that matter has now come to exceed their power.
Yet that matter became their yoke, driving them on

If they kill themselves, they gain through their suicide
If they committed suicide, their suicide would not lead them
Nothing but debilitating pain, inflamed by deliberate intent.
To anything but severe, excruciating pain

Pestilence and diseases, and weakness of resolve—
Plagues and diseases, and the loss of resolve
Chains of misery that counting cannot encompass.
Chains of misery too narrow to be contained
