حَجَّاجُ أَنتَ الذي ما فَوْقَهُ أَحَدُ

حَجَّاجُ أَنتَ الذي ما فَوْقَهُ أَحَدُ

إلاّ الخَليفَةُ والمُسْتَغْفَرُ الصَّمَدُ

إلاّ الخَليفَةُ والمُسْتَغْفَرُ الصَّمَدُ

Hajjaj, you are the one above whom there is none

Hajjaj, you are the one above whom there is no one,

save the Caliph and the Eternal Refuge whose forgiveness is sought.

Except the caliph and the Eternal Refuge whose forgiveness is sought.

حَجَّاجُ أَنْتَ سِنانُ الحَرْبِ إنْ نُهِجَتْ

حَجَّاجُ أَنْتَ سِنانُ الحَرْبِ إنْ نُهِجَتْ

وأَنْتَ للنَّاسِ في الداجي لنا تَقِدُ

وأَنْتَ للنَّاسِ في الداجي لنا تَقِدُ

Hajjaj, you are the spearhead of war when it is waged,

Hajjaj, you are the spearhead of war if it is undertaken,

and for the people, in the darkness, you blaze for us.

And you blaze for the people, for us, in the darkness.
