The gazelle is wont to shy when its shadows stir.

Nor does one unfamiliar with the deserts know the chase,

Who has faced neither scorching winds nor the north wind.

Indeed, a glance from your eyes toward anyone else is a courtesy.

  7. ماانقطع سيل حبك بالمعاليق جاري

The torrent of my love for you has not ceased; it flows through my heartstrings.

As though God created my heart as a watercourse for love of you.

  8. ليلتي ياقمرها ..غار منها نهاري

For love's union is a whisper in its nights.

  9. جعل واهج غرامك مثل وجدي وناري

مير ما اظن في دنيا المحبة عداله

May your passion's blaze match my yearning and my fire.

But I do not think there is fairness in the world of love.
