دنياك يازين ماتستاهل الضيقة
You who are troubled at heart, for God's sake, ease your mind.
My chest is troubled, so I seek relief from God,
Your world, beautiful one, is not worth such distress.
Your world, O beauty, is not worth the anguish,

God is able to relieve your anguish.
God is able to relieve your sorrows,
And God has dominion over the affairs of His creatures.
For God determines the fate of His creations,

Sweet-eyed one, your eyes have made light of their falling tears.
Sweet eyes, their flowing tears come cheap,
Hold back the tears; I cannot bear sorrowful weeping.
Stop your crying, sad tears I cannot bear,

What a shame—how can sorrow veil your pure face?
It is wrong that sorrow covers your pure face,
And the rose on your cheek—it is a shame to wound it.
And it is wrong for roses on your cheeks to be marred,

A heart would ransom you, ready for whatever you desire.
My heart is ready to ransom you for what you wish,
It would ransom you with what remains to me of its heartstrings.
To ransom you with all that remains in my possession,

Leave what has passed, and do not worry about tomorrow.
Let go of the past and worry not about the morrow,
And seize from today whatever its good fortune has brought.
Make the most of today and what it brings you.
