Oh, may God curse the eyes, for they
were fashioned as glances, not as arrows.
يفتكنthey ravage بالأحشاthe entrails وهنwhile they are نواعسlanguid
يفتكن بالأحشا وهن نواعس
فتكthe ravaging of النصالarrowheads فلاand not يخفنthey fear ملاماreproach
فتك النصال فلا يخفن ملاما
They ravage the entrails while languid,
as arrowheads do, and fear no reproach.
