News, unlike any other news,
News, yet unlike all other news,
Pelted the land with a smokeless flame of fire.
It blazed through the land like flaming fires.
فلَوَتْso bowed لهfor him الصيدُthe proud nobles الاماجدُthe illustrious هامَهاtheir heads
فلَوَتْ له الصيدُ الاماجدُ هامَها
حُزناًin grief لفقدat the loss of زعيمِهاtheir leader المختارthe chosen
حُزناً لفقد زعيمِها المختار
So the proud, illustrious nobles bowed their heads for him,
The glorious game wheeled around in grief,
In grief at the loss of their chosen leader.
