musk from the vision, spreading its fragrance, and ambergris.

I extinguished the falseness of my counterfeit body,

and came, my essence carrying me to you.

but found myself journeying toward what is more moon-bright.

for love, like the soul, does not repeat itself.

O tale of the apple—its finest narrators

among the immortals are its nectar and sugar.

in her hand, yellow time turns green.

is a mystery like God's mystery, not to be explained.

and the soul purifies itself in its litanies.

If I cry out, 'Fatimah!' the expanse answers me

across every quarter, and a green light shines.

and the essence of names, if they could be pressed.
