Two crowns adorned you—which surpassed its twin:

Two crowns adorned you—so tell me truly: with which of them
do you boast over other free people?
لوif أوتيَwere granted النخلُthe palms أنto يستلَّunsheathe قامتَهُits stature
سيفًاas a sword، لأصبحَwould then become منamong أنصاركَyour supporters، الشجرُthe trees
Had the palms been granted the power to unsheathe their stature
as a sword, the trees would have become your supporters.

Or if water could reveal its feelings,
