فاِسلَم سَلمتَ مِن المَكارِهِ وَالرَدى

فاِسلَم سَلمتَ مِن المَكارِهِ وَالرَدى

وَعِثارِها وَوُقيتَ نَفسَ الحُسَّدِ

وَعِثارِها وَوُقيتَ نَفسَ الحُسَّدِ

So fare well—may you be spared hardships and death,

And their pitfalls, and may you be shielded from the evil eye of the envious.
