فَأَصبَحتُ لا أَقلي الحَياةَ وَطولَها
أَخيراًat last وَقَدthough already كانَتit had إِليَّto me تَقَلَّتِgrown hateful
أَخيراً وَقَد كانَت إِليَّ تَقَلَّتِ
And so I came no longer to hate life and its length—
So I no longer hate life or its length,
at last—though once it had shown me aversion.
at last, though it had grown hateful to me.
