وَأَحلُّand I settle فيin قُلَلِthe summits of الرُباthe hills وَأُقيمُand I stay
I cover the road with my domed tent and its awning,
And settle on the hilltops and stay.
إِنَّindeed امرأًa man جَعَلَmade الطَريقَthe road لِبَيتِهِfor his dwelling
طُنُباًa tent-rope وَأُنكِرَand was denied حَقُّهُits due لَلَئيمُsurely base
Indeed, a man who makes the road his dwelling’s
Tent-rope, while its due goes unrecognized, is surely base.
