وَلَهُand his are مَكارِمُnoble deeds أَرضُهاtheir earth مَعلومَةٌwell known
وَلَهُ مَكارِمُ أَرضُها مَعلومَةٌ
ذاتُmarked by الطُّوىhunger وَلَهُand his are نُجومُstars سَمائِهاtheir sky
ذاتُ الطُّوى وَلَهُ نُجومُ سَمائِها
And his are noble deeds whose earth is well known,
The bounties of her land are widely known
Marked by hunger; and his are the stars of their sky.
With constellations gracing her sky's dome
