And I, in calling upon you concerning calamities
And I in calling you from misfortunes

كَمُرسِلِlike one sending دَعوَةa cry بِفَلاةِin a desert wilderness أَرضland
كَمُرسِلِ دَعوَة بِفَلاةِ أَرض
مَتىwhenever تَبلغit reaches مَدىًa distance تَرجِعit returns بياسِin despair
مَتى تَبلغ مَدىً تَرجِع بياسِ
Am like one sending a cry across a desert waste:
Like one sending an invitation in wilderness
Whenever it reaches a distance, it returns in despair.
When will it reach its end and return unanswered
