اللَّهُ أَيَّد بِالخِلافَةِ جَعفَرا

اللَّهُ أَيَّد بِالخِلافَةِ جَعفَرا

وَاللَّهُ أَيّدها بِدَولَة جَعفَرِ

وَاللَّهُ أَيّدها بِدَولَة جَعفَرِ

God strengthened Jaʿfar with the caliphate,

God supported Ja'far with the caliphate

and God strengthened it with Jaʿfar’s reign.

And God supported it with the state of Ja'far

ملك أَقام لَهُ الهدى أَعلامَه

ملك أَقام لَهُ الهدى أَعلامَه

وَفَقا بِهِ المَعروفُ عينَ المُنكرِ

وَفَقا بِهِ المَعروفُ عينَ المُنكرِ

A king for whom guidance raised its banners,

A king who established for him the banners of guidance

and through whom goodness put out the eye of evil.

And through him virtue overcame the eye of evil
