حيلَةُ البُرءِ صَنعَةٌ لِعَليلِ

يَتَرَجّى الحَياةَ أَو لِعَليلِه

The guile of the healthy is a craft for the sick

Who hopes for life, or for his sickness

فَإِذا جاءَت المَنِيَّةُ قالَت

حيلَة البُرءِ لَيسَ في البُرءِ حيلَه

So when death comes it says

The guile of the healthy has no power over the healthy
