May no solace reach a grave

No - the soul has not reached a soil

That holds the soul of Abū Rūḥ.

That contained my father's soul

والضرطُ والفسو على قبره

والضرطُ والفسو على قبره

أولى من التأبين والنوح

أولى من التأبين والنوح

And loud and silent farts upon his grave

And breaking wind and farting on his grave

Are more fitting than eulogy and lamentation.

Are better than eulogizing and weeping
