ما بين سكران ومخمور
And a piper spent the night as our drinking companion,
He became an entertainer for us,
Amid the drunken and the hungover.
Amongst the intoxicated and the drunk.

Wine kills us, and through him we come alive,
Wine kills us, yet we live by it,
As though he were blowing into the Trumpet.
As if it blows into the horn.
