لنا سراج نوره ظلمة
ليسis not لهfor it ظلa shadow علىon الارضthe earth
ليس له ظل على الارض
We have a lamp whose light is darkness;
We have a lamp whose light is darkness.
it has no shadow upon the earth—
It has no shadow on the earth.
كأنهas though it were شخصthe figure of الامامthe imam الذىwhom
كأنه شخص الامام الذى
تبغىseek الهدىguidance منهfrom him أولوthe adherents of الرفضrejection (Rafidism)
تبغى الهدى منه أولو الرفض
as though it were the very person of the Imam from whom
It is like the figure of the imam from whom
the Rāfiḍīs seek guidance.
the Rafidites seek guidance.
