روحي بك يا معذبي قد شقيت
فيin جنبthe side of; the sake of رضاكyour pleasure فيin الهوىlove ماwhatever لقيتit has endured
في جنب رضاك في الهوى ما لقيت
My soul has suffered because of you, O my tormentor.
My soul with you, my tormentor, has suffered
Whatever it has endured in love is for the sake of your pleasure.
In your acceptance of love I have not found
لاdo not تعجلbe hasty باللهby God عليهاwith it فعسىfor perhaps
لا تعجل بالله عليها فعسى
أنthat تدركهاyou reach it برجمةlikely 'with mercy' (برحمة), a presumed correction إنif بقيتit survives
أن تدركها برجمة إن بقيت
By God, do not be hasty with it, for perhaps
Do not rush, by God, against her, perhaps
You may reach it with mercy, if it survives.
You will attain her with patience, if you endure
