  1. يا شمس ضحى جبينه وضاح

    ساعات رضاك كلها أفراح

    O midmorning sun, whose brow is radiant,

    The hours of your favor are all joy.

  2. عشاقك لو فعلت ما شئت بهم

    ماتوا كمداً وبالهوى ما باحوا

    Your lovers, even if you did whatever you wished to them,

    Would die of grief, yet not reveal their love.
