لَو زارَني مِنكُمُ خَيالٌ
أَبصَرَwould see مِنّيfrom me الخَيالَthe phantom الأَصغَرthe smaller
أَبصَرَ مِنّي الخَيالَ الأَصغَر
If a phantom from you were to visit me,
If an apparition of you were to visit me
it would see in me a smaller phantom.
It would see a smaller apparition of me
غالَطتُّI confused نَفسِيَmyself فيabout وُجودِيmy existence
غالَطتُّ نَفسِيَ في وُجودِي
شَخصٌa person أَناI أَمor أَناI مُصَوَّرa depicted image
شَخصٌ أَنا أَم أَنا مُصَوَّر
I have confused myself about my existence:
