وجهُ أغرٌ كأنّه بدرُ الدُّجى

فعليه من نور السُّعودِ كمالُ

A radiant face, as though it were the full moon in the darkness;

And upon it rests perfection from the light of good fortune.

تتراحمُ اللحظاتُ في إشراقهِ

فكانّه فوق العُيونِ هلالُ

فكانّه فوق العُيونِ هلالُ

Glances show one another mercy in its radiance;

Moments intertwine in its splendor

So it is like a crescent moon above the eyes.

As if above all eyes, a crescent moon
