ياO أَعرَقmost deeply rooted الناسpeople فيin نَسلlineage اليَهودthe Jews وَمَنand one whose
يا أَعرَق الناس في نَسل اليَهود وَمَن
تَأَبىrefuse شَمائِلُهُhis traits التَفصيلdetailed exposition للجُمَلِfor the summaries
تَأَبى شَمائِلُهُ التَفصيل للجُمَلِ
O you most deeply rooted of all people in the lineage of the Jews, and you
O most generous of people in the lineage of Jews, and he
Whose traits defy the elaboration of summary descriptions,
Whose attributes refuse to be particularized in gross description,
خُذهاtake it بِحُكمby virtue of اِجتِماعthe combining of الذَمّcensure واحِدَةas a single one
خُذها بِحُكم اِجتِماع الذَمّ واحِدَة
تُغنيsuffices عَنin place of العَطفcoordination وَالتَوكيدِand emphasis وَالبَدَلِand apposition
تُغني عَن العَطف وَالتَوكيدِ وَالبَدَلِ
Take it as one reproach, since all censure is combined:
