ياO ربّةmistress of المَنْزِلِthe house بالفَرْكِat al-Fark
يا ربّة المَنْزِلِ بالفَرْكِ
وربَّةَand mistress of السُلطانِpower والمُلْكِand sovereignty
وربَّةَ السُلطانِ والمُلْكِ
O mistress of the house at al-Fark,
Oh mistress of the house in the room
And mistress of power and sovereignty,
Oh mistress of power and kingdom
تَرَفَّقيbe gentle باللهِby God فيin قَتْلِناslaying us
تَرَفَّقي باللهِ في قَتْلِنا
لَسْناwe are not منof الدَّيْلَمِthe Daylamites والتُرْكِand the Turks
لَسْنا من الدَّيْلَمِ والتُرْكِ
Be gentle, by God, in slaying us;
Have mercy on us when killing us
We are neither Daylamites nor Turks.
We are not Turks or Daylamites
