Yes, we are the Hijaz, and we are Najd.

Here is glory for us, and there is glory.

And we are the Arabian Peninsula, for which lives were given,

And are still given by noblemen and lions.

And we—our north is lofty pride.

And we—our south is mightier pride.

ونحن عسير مطلبها عسير

ودون جبالها برق ورعد

ودون جبالها برق ورعد

And we are Asir, difficult to attain.

And before its mountains are lightning and thunder.

ونحن الشاطئ الشرقي بحر

ونحن الشاطئ الشرقي بحر

وأصداف وأسياف وحشد

وأصداف وأسياف وحشد

And we are the eastern shore: a sea,

And shells and swords and a host.
