محَمَّدٌMuhammad حُبُّهُlove for him مَااااno مِثلُهُlike it حُبُّlove
ياO ربُّLord صَلِّsend blessings عليهupon him، صَلِّsend blessings ياO ربُّLord
Muhammad—no love is like love for him.
O Lord, bless him; bless him, O Lord.

The heart’s deepest core burned from overwhelming separation.
The core’s longing is war, with war behind it.
مَاnot الحُبُّlove يَاO الصَّبُّthe lovesick one إلاexcept فِيهِin him، مِنهُfrom him، بِهِthrough him،
مَاnot الحُبُّlove إلاexcept لَهُfor him يَاO أَيهَاyou الصَّبُّthe lovesick one
Love, O lovesick one, is only in him, from him, through him;
Love is for him alone, O you lovesick one.

Indeed, blessings and peace upon him are guidance,
through which distress, poverty, and hardship are dispelled.
مَاwhat قِيمَةُthe worth of الحُبِّlove لَولاwere it not for حُبّهlove for him، قَسماًI swear

What would love be worth without love for him? I swear,
Toward him, without feet, the heart walked.

Through love, in consciousness and the unconscious, his sign
wanders as long as eyelids and lashes blink.

A spiritual pole here and there, from the past up to
my time—yet far be it that any pole should be seen as the equal of his two sandals.
